  • Some Animon in LumenTale: Memories of Trey won’t just wander across your path — they hide behind rare weather, day/night windows, dungeon-only spawn tables, or entire story completions. This guide covers every category of rare spawn and how to hunt each one.

✨ Lost Animon (the “Shiny” System)

Lost Animon are the game’s rare variants — but unlike other games’ recolors, they’re full redesigns with distinct forms, framed in lore as believed-extinct versions of the species. They still count as the same species in your AniWiki.

    How to hunt them:

    • 🔊 Listen for the sparkle. A Lost spawn announces itself with a distinctive sparkling, shiny sound in the overworld — when you hear it, stop and search. Full detail, including every documented Lost form and what the encounter rates really are, is in our Lost (Shiny) Animon guide.
    • 🃏 Collect art cards. Collectible art cards raise the Lost spawn odds for the specific species on the card.
    • 🔮 Mystical Relic rebirth. Sacrificing three Animon of the same species in a rebirth gives a 1/100 chance the reborn Animon emerges as a Lost variant.
    • Lost Bilia. A dedicated Bilia for rare encounters — keep a few stocked so a failed catch never wastes the find.

Dozens of Lost variants exist at launch (the five starter lines are fully covered — including Mewaii, Maidelly and Megamitosa — plus Lampecko, which comes free with the Deluxe/Lumen editions). Not every species has one yet, and no exact spawn percentage has been confirmed by the community.

    🌦️ Weather & Time Spawns

Talea runs a full day/night cycle and ten weather states: Clear, Harsh Sun, Rain, Heavy Rain, Sandstorm, Hail, Rainbow, Fog, Snow, and Ashes Rain. Certain Animon only appear under specific conditions, some species are night-only — and the rarest weather, Rainbow, gates one of the game’s trickiest evolutions (see Minube below). Rare species also tend to live in dungeons rather than the open world, so clear caves and interiors when a zone’s overworld seems tapped out.

    🐾 Notable Rare Hunts

    Chagma (#107) — the Battle-Only Rare

Chagma (Sereum, Chakra type) doesn’t appear as a normal overworld spawn — it turns up as a rare encounter inside battles, most reliably in Area 02 near the lower raised area left of the Grass Holoken Power object (it also shows in Areas 03, 05 and the Center Area at higher levels). Its evolution is performance-based and worth planning before you grind:

    • Land 5 critical hits in a single battle → evolves toward Gongbog (Felicis/Chakra)
    • Miss 5 times in a single battle → evolves toward Natmiss (Mestus/Chakra)
    • Counters reset every battle — commit to one path per fight.

    Minube × 6 → Chromaura — the Rainbow Evolution

Six color variants of Minube (Aura/Sereum) spawn across Talea:

    VariantLocation
    🟡 YellowCave in Area 06
    🟢 GreenTemple Underground, Memorenia City
    🩷 PinkAeolyc Islands
    🟠 OrangeDarkwood Forest
    🔵 BlueSuvius Peak
    🔴 RedCrimson Cavern, Costa Linda

To evolve Chromaura, you need all six Minube in your active party during Rainbow weather — rare and random, so either area-hop until the rainbow icon appears top-left, or take the shortcut: the side quest “Singing in the Rainbow” (see our full Rainbow Weather guide) (unlocked after the Paradine City main quest) guarantees Rainbow weather. ⚠️ Chromaura inherits the stats and level of the Minube you choose — and all six Minube are consumed permanently.

    Toypette Shapes

The Data-type Toypette family comes in multiple shape variants (Cubishape, Rotoshape, Trigoshape and more) found around Voltar, with a special evolution into Anizord. Shape-specific spawn conditions are still being documented by the community.

    🏆 Catchable Bosses (Legendary Rematches)

The giant story bosses become catchable — but only after you finish both the Mythos and Logos storylines and reach Magnolia. Their encounters then reappear around Talea, and on your second victory the boss appears automatically in your most recently used Anispace storage box — no catch mechanic, no Bilia needed.

    BossAttribute / TypeRematch Location
IotamorMestus / DemonScarlet Woods — Lower Cave
PymantFuror / ChakraScarlet Woods — Cave Grotto
    DualineFelicis / GrassDarkwood Forest

How to actually beat them the first time: see the Boss Weakness Guide.

    🎯 Rare-Hunting Checklist

    1. Play with sound on — the Lost sparkle cue is your best signal.
    2. Check dungeons and caves, not just the overworld.
    3. Note the current weather before writing off a zone as “empty.”
    4. Weaken targets below 50% HP and apply Stun before throwing — and use the right Bilia (Lost Bilia for variants, attribute-matched Bilia otherwise). Full technique in How to Catch Animon.
    5. Collect art cards for any species whose Lost variant you’re chasing.

Track every species’ typing and evolution in the full Animon Dex.

    Lore

Kouzear build their dens in elevated areas, from which they keep an eye on their territory. Conceited and territorial, they release a loud, electrically amplified roar when they go hunting, to warn (or perhaps challenge) their prey.

    Evolution

    Kouzear🔄 Mythos Route — 40+ lvlByazevolt
    Kouzear🔄 Logos Route — 40+ lvlZenicore

    Notes

Kouzear his name is probably split like “Kou / Kouz” which can be linked to the cougar or kuzey in turkish meaning north (the starter can be found in the north of the map), the other part is “Zear” for šēr in persian meaning lion or maybe for his “ear”.
Concerning his design it’s certainly a feline, but there is only two choices it may be a lynx or a wildcat (it can’t be a cougar because it’s not present on the european soil).
Concerning his apparence he has a lot of references to the thunder with the form of his tail, the form of his ears and the patterns on his fur.
The fur behind his head can be a representation of his evolution with the start of a mane.
Concerning his Furor emotion we can see some anger/agressivity in his eyes, his posture indicates he is ready to jump at his prey and ready to fight. His teeth outside his mouth can be interpreted as a way to intimidate his opponent.
Small detail we can see his front legs to be more powerful indicating powerful prey capture, climbing, and ambush.

    Notes

The name Maidelly comes from “maid”, an English word that can refer to a young girl, which suits the Animon well, and “elly”, a suffix often used in affectionate nicknames. Her name was probably chosen to make players perceive her as a cute young girl.
Maidelly is likely inspired by a jellyfish (possibly the species Rhizostoma pulmo, which is found in the Mediterranean Sea and can be pink or blue) as well as a young woman. She was probably designed to appear cute, much like her pre-evolution.

🎯 How to find Lost Variant – best Method and Location

    Notes

Mewaii have her name probably coming from “Medusa” (jellyfish) and “Kawaii” (cute).
Mewaii is probably inspired by a jellyfish, possibly the species Rhizostoma pulmo, which is found in the Mediterranean Sea and can be pink or blue an other detail to add for this choice of species is the form of the jellyfish which seems to represent a skirt layered or a frilly design.
Concerning her colors we can see some green and pink.
For the green that can represent the harmony, the wildness, the calm, the nature and sometimes the healing (as represented in the card of the animon). Aside this view the green can be interpreted as the virus type (in reference for the toxic tiny harpoon presents in her tentacles used by the jellyfish to kill you) and the Felicis Attribute.
For the pink this can be directly be a reference for the softness, the tenderness, the feminity. As well as a reference for the jellyfish which is generally draw with pink and many species have this color.
Concerning her Felicis Attribute we can see multiple reference with her attitude, always smiling, her enthusiam and even in her card, which represent her dancing on the water with a big smile. Added to the color used to make more confiance and certainly to attract people
Her healing abilities is probably a way to represent the Felicis attribute as well.
For information, her Lost version has a pattern on her forehead that resembles a spike protein. Her Lost version also appears more lady-like, notably due to the difference in her head ribbon.
