LumenTale Boss Weakness Guide: Every Boss, Weakness & Counter in Order

Every major city in LumenTale: Memories of Trey throws a giant Animon boss and a Lumen Match squadron captain at you — and because type effectiveness is per-species, walking in blind gets expensive. Here’s every boss in story order with weaknesses, resistances, and counters. Remember the universal tech: scan bosses early (1–2 scans reveal weaknesses), and field Animon that resist the boss’s attack types to starve its TP and deny bonus actions.

🌲 Prologue — Scarlet Woods & Iris Hamlet

Toxigall (Lv 8)

Mini-boss leading the Smellwing pack in Scarlet Woods. A warm-up — bring anything that doesn’t fold to Virus/Demon damage.

Iotamor (Lv 11) — Demon (Hidden: Anomalous, Ice)

  • Weak to: Electric, Aura, Geo
  • Counters: Ozelash and Mollupom shred it — one big reason Ozelash tops our starter rankings.

Pymant (Lv 14) — the First Real Wall

  • Weak to: Water, Electric, Demon, Geo
  • Attacks with: Slicing Wind (Aura) and Blaze (Fire) — and it acts twice per turn once its TP hits 2, so bring Aura/Fire-resistant Animon to starve it.
  • Counters: Ozelash or Queccha, plus Mollupom, Deniuli, Owaxle. Avoid Flowende and Almyuna.

Dena — First Squadron Leader (Area 1 Lumen Camp)

Her star is a Mollupom — Electric moves win again.

⚙️ Logos Route (North)

Knequital (Lv 20, 3 health bars) — Aura / Sereum — Arsilia Courthouse

  • Weak to: Geo (per walkthrough testing)
  • Its Draw quirk makes it stronger as the fight drags, and below half HP it charges a big attack — burst it down rather than turtling.

Bucky — Arsilia Stadium Captain

Fought after three back-to-back Lumen matches; your team is fully healed before him. Bring your widest move coverage.

Blumester, Logos form (Lv 26, 4 health bars) — Voltar City Generator

  • Weak to: Virus  |  Resists: Fire, Geo
  • ⚠️ Below half HP it gains Diamond Spike — an instant-KO move. Keep no one at low HP and finish fast.
  • Reward: Electric Holoken affinity.

Anne — Voltar Captain

Recommended Lv 27+.

Nuclheart (Lv 29) — Virus — Paradine Landing (Edenheart)

  • Weak to: Ice
  • Flanked by three self-resurrecting goo Animon — ignore the adds and focus the boss.
  • Reward: Virus Holoken infusion.

Elio — Paradine Captain

Recommended Lv 32+; his team punishes Virus-type Animon, so bench them for this one.

Arct-Rex (Lv 32) — Ice — Glacial Peak Depths (Speranova)

  • Weak to: Geo, Chakra  |  Resists: Virus, Water
  • Recommended Lv 36+.

Kentaress (Lv 36) — Data / Sereum — Cathedral Finale (Logos)

  • Weak to: Electric  |  Resists: Virus, Geo
  • The Luminary’s true form and the climax of the northern route (you’ll fight the human antagonist Kines along the way).

🌋 Mythos Route (South)

Rezza & Mango — Mirasilva (Baza’s Palace)

Trial fights before the chamber; Mango rematches later as the stadium finals captain with a stronger team.

Dualine (Lv 20+, 2 phases) — Grass / Felicis — Baza’s Chamber

  • Weak to: Ice, Chakra, Fire  |  Resists: Virus
  • Kit: Aromasynthesis (self-heal every turn), Shards Rain (AoE), Mud Trap (team Agility down), and Nature’s Wrath — a colossal Grass AoE. Bring Geo/Grass-resistant Animon.
  • Counters: Deniuli or Fulgaze (Fire), Sapsy, Mollupom/Kerocrack/Owaxle with Ice or Fire moves; Cadedro’s Congestion debuff (Attack + Agility down) blunts both phases.

Blumester, Mythos form — Costa Linda Docks

  • Weak to: Grass, Electric, Demon  |  Resists: Water, Fire, Virus
  • Reward: Water Holoken infusion; the Costa Linda captain fight after it awards the Meridemblem (needed to evolve Maidelly into Megamitosa).

Morsiver (fought twice) — Fire / Horrens — Altipetra

  • Weak to: Aura, Chakra, Water  |  Resists: Anomalous, Geo  |  Immune to: Demon
  • First fight at the Ascension Ritual Stadium (4 health bars), then a much stronger rematch in the Volcanic Depths.

Elodie — Altipetra Captain

Healing-heavy team with a devastating Pinouflage — you must burst her Animon down within a turn cycle or she heals it all back.

Katamos — Lost Animon — Aeolyc Islands Temple (Memorenia)

  • Weak to: Virus  |  Resists: Ancient  |  Immune to: Aura

Primalong — Ancient/Grass/Geo — Temple (Prince Mars’s true form)

  • Weak to: Ice, Data
  • The problem: it spams Turbo Vortex, stacking +2 Agility until it’s nearly unhittable, plus Excisio (multi-target) and Plus Ultra (stat boost).
  • Counters: Agility-reset debuffs (Mud Trap), Ancient-damage reflectors (Bibrickle, Armansient), Wicedom’s Arctic Mirror, multi-hit moves like Stacking Strike to clip the last sliver of HP. Carrigante survives everything here but lacks Ice/Data offense — pair it with a dedicated damage dealer.

Damame — Memorenia Captain

The strongest undefeated captain in Mythos — fights alone. Full coverage and a healer recommended.

🏁 Finale — Magnolia

Blanco (first fight) — Unwinnable

Scripted loss outside AARI HQ — don’t burn items. Inside the HQ, free the vice-captains: each rescue lowers Blanco’s Animon defense in the final fight.

Blanco (final, 2 phases) + Eterjian

  • Phase 1: his six Animon. Phase 2: he summons Eterjianweak to Electric and Geo, resists Fire and Ice, and spreads its attack damage across multiple Animon; Aura-resistant team members trivialize it.

Majetsune — FINAL BOSS (Lv 65, 8 health bars)

  • Weak to: Ancient, Aura  |  Resists: Data
  • Its main attack, Glitch_Wave, is Data-type — stack Data-resistant Animon and bring your team to Lv 70+.

♻️ After the Credits

Finish both routes and the giant bosses become catchable in rematches — they deposit straight into your Anispace storage after a second win. Locations and typings in our Rare Animon Spawns guide, and team prep in Best Team Comp.

Boss data compiled from community walkthroughs and guides; captain rosters aren’t fully documented yet and some weaknesses come from single-source playtesting — we’ll refine numbers as the community datamines them.
