Klawller inhabit the darkest depths, where their eyes give them an advantage over their prey. They have the ability to shrink down to enter the Nanafin that house them, controlling them from the inside and infiltrating the Nanafin’s school. When Klawller are ready to attack, they use their deadly claws to take their prey by surprise.
Attribute: Horrens
Tanky and resilient, with exceptional HP and Defense. They absorb punishment and wear down opponents through endurance rather than speed.
Notes
Klawller have probably it’s name coming from “Claw” with a K and “Crawler” which is accurate for this animon who keep entering and leaving the body of Nanafin by the mouth.
Klawller is probably inspired by the “Cymothoa Exigua” which is a crustacean using a parasitic link with his fish host by replacing his tongue and feeding on his blood. Small difference between this crustacean and Klawller, it doesn’t take control of his host.
Small fact about this animon, the Nanafin isn’t dead, he is still alive and we can confirm that with the animation of the Animon. So it can still used him as a way to protect himself and as a way to hunt prey.
If sacrifice a lost Nanafin, Klawller will not appear with a lost Nanafin at the end of his body.
Concerning it’s colors, the red on his body probably come from the blood of his victim giving him a flesh apparence adding with his Horrens attribute seems pretty accurate. For the blue that can be either some blood without oxygen or a color to be use either for the fear or because to indicate it’s water type.
The small dots on his body, can be his legs which are either hidden or too small and have only a use for climbing the throat of his victim. The small dots can also be some part soft of it’s shell.
Concerning the form on his head that can be some antenna (which are not present on Cymothoa Exigua) or may be a way to accentuate the Horrens aspect of the animon like his sly, smug look as he enjoyed the situation. Feel like a psychopath.
The lost version is designed probably the same way, the aspect of a white fish or more like the real color of Cymothoa Exigua (white / pink), a different pattern for the dots which become tile shaped and the horns on his head which have a different shape. Apart those details it’s globally the same design.
